ok my question is ..has anyone been on inderal or any beta blocker for high blood pressure and been able to get off of it cause im on inderal and my pulse was real low but then my doctor said i have to ween off to switch my medicine and i tried and my pressure spiked so im stuck on it still and then when i try getting off of it my hearts fast i cant win either way i hate beta blockers the side effects

I am a little chubby but no one really knows besides me. My legs are getting better, and same with my stomach because of crew. But I want a workout I can do to get FAST results, I don’t want some program type thing or something though.
I do crew, so I definitely do weight training, and my legs are almost all muscle. Just the top part isn’t. Also, my abs are really strong, just this one part has fat on it.

I was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure. I am 47 and never had issues before. The past year has been EXTREMELY stressful for me (too much to get into). I know I have to lose about 20 pounds and change diet. I am now taking Inderal. I was wondering if I lost the weight, ate well, didn’t smoke, etc. I could eventually get off medication. Has anyone ever sucessfully done this through lifestyle changes? Unfortunately both my parents have this also.
