I’m normally a skinny guy as most people say, though i have a belly. I was wondering if it was possible to lose my belly fat for abs but at the same time gain muscle mass in my arms. If it is, how long would i have to exercise until i see some changes if i stay to a set schedule?
Just wondering, some guy said that to get rid of belly fat, you needed to do cardio, and that ab exercises didn’t matter as far as doing that. I sort of beg to differ, but does anyone know?
I heard that doing crunches and sit ups will build muscle but not cause you to lose fat only making you look bigger. I also run everyday so will this help to build muscle and lose fat.
I’ve been sick with a sinus infection. I went to the doctor last Thurs & was prescribed amoxil & told to take antihistamine. I haven’t done any hard physical activities for 2 weeks. Sunday I was feeling a lot better and was moving furniture around. Monday, I was aching at my shoulders and chest. The aches started to fade except for a pain in the left side of my chest. The pain in my chest kept coming and going all day. When I woke up Tues & started moving around, the pain in my chest came back. I started worrying & called a friend who’s been a RN for 30 years. I descibed things & she said it sounds like I strained the muscle. It’s been 3 hrs since I talked to her. Now, when I start to feel the pain in my chest, I’m feeling light headed too. I haven’t taken any medicine in about 6 hours, so I don’t think it’s that. I took my pulse & it’s 82/min. Am I worrying for nothing or is something really wrong? Also, I had blood work done 2 months ago & the results were normal. I’m 30 years old.
I’ve been trying to slim down my arms, so I’ve been lifting weights because muscle is easier to lose during cardio. But now I have too much muscle but I don’t want to stop working out because i’m still trying to slim down my stomach.
What do I do?
I am a 15 year old girl and i weigh 10 stone 4. I hate being this size and really want a smaller stomach. All the work out regimes about there just tell u how to tone it all up, but i dont want to just turn it into muscle i want to get rid of it and have a flat stomach. How can i achieve this??? Im 6′3 185, so im pretty skinny but i have a small beer gut. Im trying to bulk up and get larger but I want to loss my belly fat at the same time. If I up my calorie intake to get larger can my stomach get flat and cut while still eating alot to get larger?

I’ve been working out for 5 – 6 months and I’ve seen improvements. I also used to be really fat, but now I slimmed down a bit. But I still got some stomach fat on me, and I don’t want to get any fatter.
Is it still okay to eat excess protein and “eat BIG” when I have some stomach fat on me??
